Evolutionary Enlightenment Intensive

Andrew Cohen’s European Evolutionary Enlightenment Intensive will be held at Germany’s ReformhausAcademy in Oberursel, at the foot of the famous Taunus mountains.

During this weekend, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Andrew’s teachings of Evolutionary Enlightenment and discover through your own experience what it means to participate in the evolution of consciousness. With an intensive program consisting of meditation, discourse, and collective inquiry, a focused environment is generated that can bring about a major shift in perspective with the power to transform your entire relationship to life.

About 20 minutes north of Frankfurt, the academy is situated in a park next to a forest. The academy serves high quality vegetarian cuisine. Its beautiful setting and uniquely ecological architecture and ambience make it an ideal place to be on an intensive with Andrew.

The intensive will begin on Friday, November 28, with registration starting at 4pm. Dinner will be at 6pm, and the first meeting will start approximately at 8pm. The intensive will end on Sunday, November 30 at around 3pm.

Bring a friend and receive €100 rebate off of the tuition fee. You will be eligible for a cumulative discount of €100 off of the tuition fee for each person that has not attended an intensive before and attends based on your reference.   Send an email to intensives@enlightennext.org with the name of the person you are referring, and then you will be reimbursed when you register on November 28.

There will be a €50 cancellation fee for written requests received before November 1. Written cancellation requests received after November 1 will be charged a €200 cancellation fee. The intensive begins on November 28, and no refunds will be provided on or after this date.

The schedule and times of sessions will be announced during the intensive and may vary from day to day. However, generally you will engage in two or three sessions with Andrew each day, which are devoted to silent meditation, talks, open dialogues with Andrew, or a combination of these. The periods between sessions are an opportunity for participants to pursue their own independent inquiry into the meaning and significance of Evolutionary Enlightenment, either through personal meditation and contemplation or in the spontaneous discussions that are always a powerful and transformative feature of these events.

There will be the possibility of German translation. However, a minimum of ten people needing translation is required to provide this service. There will be a €45 fee payable at registration on November 28.

Temperatures this time of year tend to range from –10° to 10° Celsius (14° to 40° Fahrenheit), so please bring warm clothing.

Andrew's books, audios, and videos, as well as information on future events, will be available after lunch on Sunday, November 30. It will also be possible to purchase MP3 recordings of the weekend's sessions.

Flights: Frankfurt offers air passengers an excellent range of domestic and international flight connections. Frankfurt Airport is Europe’s second largest passenger airport and Frankfurt-Hahn is an attractive low-cost airport. Info

By public transport: You can reach the retreat venue from Frankfurt central train station in just over one hour. Take the underground train number 5 to Bad Homburg. From there take bus number 1. Get off at Gotisches Haus or Tannenwaldweg. From both stops the academy is about 400 meters away.

By car: From all directions look for the A661 Bad Homburg/Oberursel. Take the exit Oberursel-Nord to Oberstedten. After entering Oberstedten you will see signs “Akademie für Gesundes Leben/Reformhaus Fachakademie“ that will take you to the retreat venue.
