Dates and Times
The intensive will begin on Friday, August 1, with dinner at 6pm, and will end at around 3pm on Sunday, August 10. Registration begins at 2:30pm on August 1. Plan to arrive between 2:30pm and no later than 6pm to give time to complete your registration and settle in before dinner. There will be a welcome and orientation meeting at 8pm.

Discount option: “Bring a Friend” and receive a 10% rebate off of the tuition fee. You will be eligible for a cumulative discount of 10% off the tuition fee for each person that has not attended a long intensive before and attends the intensive based on your reference.

The newly renovated Hotel Demidoff is a 4-star hotel, situated on fifteen acres of greenery in the hills above Florence. Both single and double rooms are available. Update: The single rooms have sold out. However, if you wish to stay in a double room by yourself, that option is being offered for an additional fee of €500.
All rooms are air conditioned, equipped with a safe and mini refrigerator, and are tastefully decorated. Many have terraces with panoramic views. The hotel has a swimming pool, fitness room, and sauna, and is known for its outstanding Tuscan cuisine.
Due to the high number of registrations for this intensive, the Hotel Demidoff, where the intensive takes place, is filled up. We found a similar and very nice hotel close by (10 min drive) and we will provide shuttle service (included in the price) once in the morning and in the evening to and from the hotel. The intensive fees are the same.

Cancellation
There will be a €100 cancellation fee for written requests received before July 5. Written cancellation requests received after July 5 will be charged a €500 cancellation fee. The intensive begins on August 1; no refunds will be provided on or after this date.
Schedule
The schedule and times of sessions with Andrew will be announced during the intensive and may vary from day to day. Generally however, you will engage in two or three sessions with Andrew each day, which are devoted to silent meditation, talks, open dialogues with Andrew, or a combination of these. The periods between sessions are an opportunity for participants to pursue their own independent inquiry into the meaning and significance of Evolutionary Enlightenment, either through personal meditation and contemplation or in the discussions that are always a powerful and transformative feature of these events.
What to Bring
The weather in Italy is typically hot and sunny in August, though the hills can cool down in the evenings. Thunderstorms are not uncommon. Because the retreat locale is air conditioned, a light wrap or sweater could be useful. Comfortable summer clothing that can be layered is recommended.
Books, Audios, and Videos
Andrew’s books, audios, and videos, as well as information on future events, will be available after lunch on Sunday, August 10. It will also be possible to purchase CD and MP3 recordings of all of the sessions.
