Meditation
The evening begins with a guided meditation, during which participants become conscious of a current of stillness deeper than the awareness of the body and the movement of the mind, an open dimension of limitless freedom. You are invited whether you are new to meditation or new to meditating in the context of Evolutionary Enlightenment. More»
EnlightenNext Magazine Salon
The second part of the evening features an EnlightenNext magazine (formerly What Is Enlightenment?) salon. EnlightenNext is the premier publication for anyone interested in transforming human consciousness and culture. It brings you the leading voices of our time--from

business and politics to spirituality and science--plus insightful and controversial commentary from today’s most talented and engaging writers.
These Salon discussions are forums for high-level inquiry and focused exploration of the topics covered in EnlightenNext magazine’s articles and interviews. They provide an opportunity to come together with others and engage directly with these cutting-edge ideas. More»
Copies of the article will be provided and the new issue will be on sale.
UPCOMING SALON TOPICS:
July 7 - 2013; Or, What to Do When the Apocalypse Doesn’t Arrive - by Gary Lachman
(current issue)

The coming of the Messiah, the Y2K bug, the Mayan prophecies of 2012 . . . For thousands of years, humanity has been anxiously anticipating the end of the world. But is this “apocalyptic archetype” in the human psyche anything more than a form of collective escapism? In preparation for this discussion you may also want to read the article 2012; A Time of Extraordinary Change by John Peterson, found in the same issue.
July 21 - Integral Politics Comes of Age - an interview with Steve MacIntosh
(from issue 38; Envisioning the Future of Ecology, Politics & Consciousness)
What happens when you mix the powerful theory of integral philosophy with the intractable troubles of our global society? That’s the question we asked businessman turned philosopher Steve McIntosh, and he responded with a bold and provocative analysis of the relationship between the evolution of consciousness and the evolution of culture—from Russia to Rwanda to the Republican party. Ranging across the geopolitical spectrum, this interview is political punditry unlike anything you’ve ever seen on CNN.
August 25 - The Genie’s Out of the Bottle - an Interview with Thomas P.M. Barnett
(current issue)
Thomas Barnett changed the way thousands think about geopolitics with his 2004 bestseller, The Pentagon’s New Map. Now in his new book, Great Powers, he explains why globalization, contrary to its bad rap, may actually be the most unifying, progressive, and liberating force in human history.
