Meditation

A 45-minute guided meditation followed by a discussion with a senior instructor on the fundamental principles of Evolutionary Enlightenment.

As in many traditional spiritual paths, this meditation practice brings you to a deep experience of consciousness beyond ego. But its purpose is also to create a stable ground for cultivating a fully engaged and transformative relationship to your entire life.

From Bach to the Beatles:  An Investigation into the Evolution of Consciousness in Art and Music

Saturday, June 14, 10am-6pm

Daylong presntation by Rodrigo Tarazza and Carol Raphael with slides and music, followed by discussion

The visual arts and music reveal how human awareness has evolved over the centuries. The art object or a musical composition is, in fact, an artifact of consciousness, a way in which the evolving human capacity to reflect on and interpret the experience of being alive can be seen. Together, in this experiential class, we will explore the nature of the creative force as expressed through the development of art and music.
