About Don Beck

Dr. Beck more than any other person, is responsible for bringing the work of Professor Clare W. Graves, the visionary designer of Spiral Dynamics, to the wider world. He spent more time than anybody else working directly with Professor Graves, funding his activities after he retired from teaching and making joint presentations with Graves in New York, in Washington DC, at West Point military academy, with the New Orleans Saints professional football team, and also with Braniff International Airlines. Graves and Beck worked together to plan and implement a post-apartheid South African strategic evolution process. Beck has also spent more than a decade working in the schools in South Chicago at a time concurrent with Barack Obama’s involvement there in community development.
